Section 1 in Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board Act, 1973
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Karnataka] [Adopted by the Karnataka adoptation of laws order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.] Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board Act, 1973.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of [Karnataka] [Adopted by the Karnataka adoptation of laws order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973.] other than the City of Bangalore.(3)It shall come into force on such [date] [Act came into force on 15.10.1974.] as the State Government may, by notification, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
