Section 17(vii) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Water Supply By-Laws, 1990
(vii)The Commissioner of the Corporation may direct that any private latrine, urinal or water closet which is connected for water from Corporation waterworks, shall be provided with a cistern of such size to description and be located in such a position as he may decide.
