Section 16(1) in Tamil Nadu Music and Fine Arts University Act, 2013
(1)Every Dean shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor from among the Professors in the Faculty for a period of three years and he shall be eligible for reappointment:Provided that a Dean on attaining the age of sixty years shall cease to hold office as such:Provided further that if at any time there is no Professor in a Faculty, the Vice-Chancellor shall exercise the powers of the Dean of the Faculty.
