Section 76(2) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(2)In case of a child in need of care and protection produced as a victim of a crime before a Magistrate not empowered under the Act, such Magistrate shall transfer the matter concerning care and protection, rehabilitation and restoration of the child to the appropriate committee and no orders concerning the custody of such child shall be passed by such Magistrate.
