20. Declaration of Metropolitan Area.
- Any notification under clause (c) of Article 243P of the Constitution of India to specify an area to be a Metropolitan Area, shall define the limits of such area and such limits shall be as decided by the Government in consultation with the Board:Provided that The District Planning Committee shall not have jurisdiction over the Metropolitan Area in respect of the matters relating to powers and functions of metropolitan planning committee as specified in section 22.
