Information sought:-
The complainant had sought the following information:-
1. Copy of the file/notes holding the decision for appointment for the post of Audiometer Technician vide advertisement.
2. If proposal for said appointment for the post of Audiometer Technician has been cancelled, copies of the relevant order sheet/file notes has been submitted.
3. If not the steps have been taken till for completion of said appointment along with copies with relevant documents.
Grounds for the Complaint:
The CPIO has not provided the desired information. Relevant Facts emerging during Hearing:
The following were present Complainant: Absent Respondent: Dr. K K Pal FAA through VC M 09433037535 The complainant was given an opportunity to participate in the hearing but he is absent. The FAA stated that the information requested by the applicant in his RTI application dated 15/02/2011 was provided vide letter dated 05/04/2011. He informed that though the examination for selection of audiometer technician was held in December 2008 but no candidate was appointed as the hospital did not have the required infrastructure. The FAA added that the appellant had approached the CAT in the matter but no relief was given and he is now before the Hon'ble High Court.Page 1 of 2
Decision notice:
The FAA has submitted that the information sought by the applicant has been provided vide letter dated 05/04/2011. The complainant has not availed the opportunity to appear before the Commission to canvass his case/contest the FAA's submissions. In the above circumstances we are unable to provide any relief.
The matter is closed.
