Section 201(1) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2017
(1)If in a ventilating district, presence of inflammable gas is detected in any place, no shot-hole shall be charged, stemmed or fired in that place or in any other place situated on its return side till such place has been cleared of gas and declared safe.
