Section 54(4)(a) in Rajasthan Municipalities Act, 2009

(a)The Ward Committee shall at its first meeting after its constitution under sub-Section (1) and at its first meeting in the same month in each succeeding year shall elect where the Wards Committee consists of two or more wards, one of the members representing such wards in the Municipality to be the Chairperson of that Committee.
