(2)[ The Government may by notification in the [0fficial Gazette] [Amended by Act 3 of 1954, dated 4.2.1954.] vest in any other officer or authority such as a Village Panchayat or a Co-operative Farming Society any of the powers or duties conferred by or under this Act on the Tahsildar, the Deputy Collector or the Collector.]
