PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to set aside the fair and decretal order dated 27.03.2025 in O.S.No. 34 of 2021, on the file of the learned Subordinate Court, Sattur.

2.According to the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, the Civil Court lacks jurisdiction and the prayer sought for in the suit ought not to have been granted by the trial Court. He has relied upon Sections 55(2) and 108 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, in support of his contentions.
3.In view of the judgments of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in 2019 (9) SCC 538 and 2022 (10) SCC 477, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Civil Revision Petition in view of the availability of the statutory appeal remedy under C.P.C.
4.According to the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the revision petitioners, the other defendants in the suit have filed A.S.No.39 of 2025, in which the stay petition has also been filed seeking to stay the judgment and decree of the trial Court. 5.Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands rejected. Consequently, the Civil Revision Petition is rejected in SR stage itself.
