Section 14(1) in The Jharkhand State Agricultural University Act, 2000
(1)The Academic Council shall be incharge of the academic affairs of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, superintend, direct and control and be responsible for the maintenance of standard of instructions, education, examination and other matters connected with conferment of degrees (including honorary degrees) or award of diplomas and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed on it by the Statutes, and shall advise the Vice-Chancellor on all academic matters.
