Section 3(2)(a) in U.P. Board of Secondary Sanskrit Education (Appointment and Conditions of Service of Heads of Institution, Teachers and other employees of the Institutions Rules, 2009

(a)Where an institution is raised from a Prathama to a Purva Madhyama or from a Purva Madhyama to a Uttar Madhyama, the post of Head of Institution shall be filled by promotion of the head master of Prathama or Purva Madhyama, as the case may be, if such head master possesses a good record of service and minimum qualifications prescribed for appointment to the post of Head for Puna Madhyama or Uttar Madhyama.
