(5)The Dean shall be the academic Head of the Faculty and shall be responsible for the faithful observance of the Statutes and the Regulations relating to the Faculty and for the organisation and conduct of teaching, research and extension work of the Departments comprised therein. In carrying out the research and extension programmes, he shall work in close co-operation with the Director of Research, Extension and Farms.
