Section 142 in Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha
142. Disposal of amendments made by Council.
- The House, if it agrees to the amendment made by the Council, shall send a message to the Council to that effect, but if it disagrees with that amendment or proposes further amendment or an alternative amendment, the House shall return the Bill or the Bills as further amended to the Council with a message to that effect.
