Section 385 in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
385. Medical Practitioner to certify cause of death.
- In the case of a person who has been attended his last illness by a duly qualified medical practitioner such practitioner shall within three days of his becoming cognizant of the death of such person, sign and forward to the Chief Registrar a certificate of the cause of death of such person in such form as shall from time to time be specified by the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer in this behalf and the cause of death as stated in such certificate shall be entered in the register together with the name of the certifying medical practitioner.
