Section 22 in Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gujarat Act, 2010
22. Academic Council.
- The Academic Council shall consist of the following members, namely :-(i)the Vice-Chancellor, ex-officio Chairperson;(ii)all the Directors of the University;(iii)all the Professors of the University or Heads of Institutions of the rank of Professors;(iv)the Heads of recognized and approved colleges or institutions;(v)all the Scholars nominated in the Councils of Research;(vi)all Fellows of the University;(vii)three students nominated by the Vice-Chancellor on the basis of their excellence in regard to their outstanding performance in any of the academic and extra-curricular activities in the immediate preceding year;(viii)the Registrar shall be the Member-Secretary.
