Section 20(2) in Tamil Nadu Exhibition of Films on Television Screen Through Video Cassette Recorders and Cable Television Network (Regulation) Rules, 1984
(2)On receipt of an application for a licence under sub-rule (1), the licensing authority shall after satisfying itself in regard to the matters referred to in subsection (1) of section 6 and after making such inquiry as he deems fit may grant the licence for exhibition of film on Television screen through Video Cassette Recorder.
