Section 1 in Payment of Wages (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1957
1. Short title and extent.
(1)This Act may be called the Payment of Wages (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1957.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Tamil Nadu] [Substituted for the word 'State of Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.].
