Section 112(iii) in Code of Regulations for Anglo-Indian Schools-Tamil Nadu State
(iii)The head of an institution may grant leave without loss of stipend for a period not exceeding one month in each year of the training course to a student in consequence of severe sickness certified by a registered medical practitioner or where this is not available, after full enquiry. If the leave exceeds one month, no stipend shall be granted for the excess period.
