Section 7 in The Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960.
7. Societies not to be registered with undesirable names.-
No society shall be registered by a name which, in the opinion of the Registrar, is undesirable. A name which is identical with, or too nearly resembles, the name by which a society in existence has been previously registered, may be deemed to be undesirable by the Registrar under this section.
