Section 4(i) in Punjab Reservation for the Offices of Sarpanches of Gram Panchayats and Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads Rules, 1994
(i)Note less than [one half] [Substituted 'one-third' by Notification No. G.S.R. 31/P.A.9/1994/Ss 12, 106, 169 and 227/Amd.(4)/2018, dated 24.5.2018 (w.e.f. 10.10.1994).] of the total number of offices reserved for Scheduled Castes will be reserved for women belonging to the Scheduled Castes.
