(1)

(a)Elections are to be held to elect members of Ward/Territorial Wards of District Panchayat /Panchayat Union;

(b)The number of members to be elected from each Ward/Territorial Ward and those among them which are reserved under sections 20/32 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994) for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes [***] [Omitted by G.O. Ms. No. 163, Rural Development, dated the 7th August 1996.] or for Women are given below: -
