(ii)for thermal power stations: - Specific energy consumption or Net Heat Rate in relation to thermal power stations or Plants means the ratio of net energy input in to the designated consumers boundary in terms of kilo calorie (kcal) to the net generation in terms of kilo Watt hour (kWh) on bus bar taking in to account the effect of the auxiliary power consumption (APC) and expressed in terms of kcal per kWh, calculated as per the following formula, namely: -
