Section 9(1)(b) in Andhra Pradesh Government Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under-Graduate Medical and Dental Professional Courses, 2004

(b)In respect of State wide Institutions, admissions into 85% of seats in each course shall be reserved for candidates belonging to the three local areas in the State in this subrule namely, Andhra University Area (Andhra), Osmania University Area (Telangana) and Sri Venkateswara University area (Rayalaseema) in the ratio of 42:36:22 respectively and the balance of 15% seats shall be unreserved seats:
