Section 25(1) in The Orissa Statistics and Economics Service Rules, 1979
(1)As soon as notification under Sub-rule (4) of Rule 24 is made, a probationer who is required to pass the examination may submit an application in the form specified in Appendix I, as set out in these rules, addressed to the Secretary of the Board so as to reach him not later than the date specified by him in the notification.
