27. Local bodies to assist the Corporation.
(1)Every local body shall render such assistance and furnish such information to the Corporation and make available for its inspection and examination such records, maps, plans and other documents as it may require in connection with the performance of its functions under this Act.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, the State Government may give to any local body such directions as in its opinion are necessary or expedient for enabling the Corporation to perform its functions under this Act and thereupon it shall be the duty of the local body to comply with such directions.
