Section 64(1) in Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (Chennai) Act, 1987
(1)There shall be a Selection Committee for making recommendations to the Governing Council for appointment to the posts of Professor, Assistant Professor, Reader, Lecturer and Librarian of institutions maintained by the University.
