78. Case register. (Form No. 18.).
- A register of cases will be kept (Form No. 18) with a series of numbers commencing on the opening of each financial year. The cases falling within each "file" or "class of cases" should be entered in one place, space being set apart in the Case Register for entering the case of each "file" in the order of their number. The number given to each "file" should be in Roman figures, e.g., "I" for "Accounts". The number given to each "case" should be in Arabic figures. Cases should be serially numbered within each "file". Thus "1-I" will mean Case no. 1 of File "I-Accounts"
