Section 34(4) in The U.P. Harcourt Butler Technical University Act, 2016
(4)The Head of Department/Centre/Unit shall be responsible to the Dean of Academic Affairs for the organization of teaching in the Department/Centre/Unit and shall have all such other powers and duties as may be provided in the Ordinance, however for general administration, he shall report to Dean of concerned School.
