Section 4(1) in The Gujarat Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1963
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint an officer to be the Director of Agricultural Marketing and Rural Finance, Gujarat State, who shall exercise such powers and perform such functions and duties as are conferred or imposed on him by or under this Act and shall subject to such general or special orders as the State Government may pass, superintend the administration and carry out the purposes, of this Act.
