Section 3(1) in Tamil Nadu Village Panchayats (Restrictions and Control Over Execution of Kudimaramat by Village Panchayat-Levy of Fees by Village Panchayats) Rules, 1999
(1)The village panchayat may levy an annual fee from all the registered holders of lands served by any irrigation work at such rate per acre as the Collector of the revenue district may, from time to time, determine having regard to the nature of kudimaramat work executed or proposed to be executed by the panchayat.
