Section 51 in THE SURROGACY (REGULATION) ACT, 2021
51. Power to make regulations.
The Board may, with the prior approval of the Central Government, by notification, make regulations not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder to provide for.—(a)the fulfilment of any other condition under which eligibility certificate to be issued by the appropriate authority under sub-clause (d) of clause (v) of section 4;(b)the time and place of the meetings of the Board and the procedure to be followed for the transaction of business at such meetings and the number of Members which shall form the quorum under sub-section (1) of section 19;(c)the manner in which a person may be temporarily associated with the Board under sub- section (1) of section 22;(d)the time and place of the meetings of the State Board and the procedure to be followed for the transaction of business at such meetings and the number of members which shall form the quorum under sub-section (1) of section 29;(e)the manner in which a person may be temporarily associated with the Board under sub- section (1) of section 32; and(f)any other matter which is required to be, or may be, specified by regulations.
