Section 13(1) in The West Bengal Universities and Colleges (Administration and Regulation) Act, 2017
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force or in any custom or usage to the contrary wherever it is proposed to nominate a person by the chancellor in any body or authority of any university or other body corporate, such person shall henceforth be nominated by the Chancellor in consultation with the State Government.
