SUDIP AHLUWALIA, J. (ORAL)

In this petition, the petitioner prays for a direction for protection of life and liberty of himself and his family members from the hands of private respondents No. 5 and 6. It is alleged that the local level police officers (respondents No. 7 and 8), in connivance with the private respondents are creating pressure upon the petitioner to live with private respondent No. 5, as her husband, even though he claims that he never went through any ceremony of marriage with her, nor is he competent to marry, being only 19 years old at present. His further grievance is that time and again, he is being motivatedly called to the local Police Station and in this manner, harassed at the instance of the private respondents.
