7. Powers to call for information.
- The Board or a committee appointed by it under rule 5 shall be entitled to call for from any Department of the State Government or the Authority or any local authority or any other agency or organisation under the control of the State Government/Authority or the local authority, as the case may be, any information, return, statement or report required by it for the efficient discharge of its functions under the Act.(2)The Board or a committee appointed by it under rule 5 shall be entitled to require attendance at its meetings of any officer of the State Government or the Authority of a local authority or any other agency or organisation referred to in sub-rule (1) who is required to assist the Board or the committee in the discharge of its functions.
