Section 23 in Graphic Era Hill University Act, 2011
23. The Board of Management.
(1)The Board of Management shall consist of; namely :-(a)the Vice-Chancellor;(b)one member amongst from the officers of the Emeritus Higher Educational Institutions nominated by the Chancellor;(c)five members, nominated by the Graphic Era Educational Society, Dehradun;(d)two Professors of the University, by rotation on the basis of seniority for a period of one year;(e)two Deans of the faculties as nominated by the Chancellor;(f)Principal Secretary/Secretary to the State Government in the Higher Education Department or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Secretary;(g)the Vice Chancellor shall be the Chairperson of the Board of Management and the Registrar shall be the Secretary.(2)The powers and functions of the Board of management shall be such as may be prescribed.
