Section 34 in Kolkata Municipal Corporation Building Rules, 2009
34. Prohibition of work at night.
(1)No person shall without obtaining permission from the Municipal Commissioner, erect, re-erect, alter or add to a building or execute any work between the hours of sunset and sunrise.(2)If the Municipal Commissioner is satisfied "that the erection or alteration of any building or execution of any work is being carried out between the hours of sunset and sunrise without permission he may take such action as may be necessary under the Act.
