22. Power to make rules in regard to private ferries.
- The Commissioner may, from time to time, make rules consistent with this Act, for the maintenance of order and for the safety of passengers and property at private ferries situated in his division.Rules made under this section shall be subject to the control of the [State] [Substituted by A.L.O.] Government and shall be published in the [Official] [Substituted by A.O. for 'Calcutta Gazette'.] Gazette in such manner as the [State] [Substituted by A.L.O.] Government directs and shall thereupon have the force of law.
