(6)Laboratory in a Clinic. - If the clinic is providing laboratory services, the laboratory work shall be done by a qualified Laboratory Technician who holds a Diploma in Medical Lab Technician / Certificate in Medical Lab Technician course approved by the Government or alternately the Medical Officer can get the tests done by trained personnel under his direct supervision. However, urine examination for albumin sugar and blood haemoglobin can be undertaken by a trained person.
