- the following shall be the authorities of the University, namely:-(i)the Senate;(ii)the Syndicate;(iii)the Academic Council;(iv)the Faculties;(v)the Boards of studies;(vi)the Student's Council;(vii)the Finance Committee; and(viii)such other boards or bodies of the University as may be declared by the Statutes to be authorities of the University
