Section 2(xvi) in The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1998
(xvi)"Teachers of the Vishwavidyalaya" means Professors, Readers, Lecturers and such other persons as may be appointed for imparting instructions of conducting research, with the approval of the Academic Council in the Vishwavidyalaya or any College, Polytechnic or any Institution maintained or recognised by the Vishwavidyalaya;
