Section 215(1) in The Bihar Motor Vehicles Rules, 1992
(1)Upon a requisition made by any police officer of and above the rank of a Sub-Inspector of Police, any officer of and above the rank of an Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector may inspect any motor vehicle involved in fatal accident.
