(2)Without prejudice to the generality of the provision contained in sub-section (1) the Director shall-(i)exercise general superintendence and control over the affairs of the University;(ii)ensure implementation of the decisions of the authorities of the University;(iii)be responsible for imparting of instruction and maintenance of discipline in the University; and(iv)exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be assigned to him under this Act or the Regulations or as may be delegated to him by the Board or by the President, as the case may be.
