(7)[ When an assessment of tax has been made or a penalty has been imposed under sub-section (6), the prescribed authority shall issue a notice in the prescribed form directing the holder to pay the tax or penalty, as the case may be, on or before the date specified in the notice.] [Sub-section (7) inserted by W.B.
