Section 74 in Regulations Under the U.P. Intermediate Education Act, 1921
74. A Service Book in the Form prescribed by the State Government for its employees will be supplied to an employee of the institution at his own cost on his first appointment, and along with the Character Roll shall be maintained by and kept in the custody of the Head of the Institution in the case of a teacher [and other employees] and by the Manager in the case of the Head of the Institution.
