Section 71(2) in The Corporation of the City of Panaji (Election) Rules, 2004
(2)As each voter enter the polling station, the Presiding Officer, or the Polling Officer authorized by him in this behalf, shall check the voter's name and other particulars with the relevant entry in the list of voters and then call out the serial number, name and other particulars of the voter.
