Section 37(4) in The West Bengal Factories Rules, 1958
(4)They shall be under cover and so partitioned off as to secure privacy, and shall have proper hinged doors and fastenings:Provided that the Chief Inspector may by order in writing exempt factories existing on the date of commencement of these rules from providing hinged doors and fastenings for those latrines which have been constructed before such commencement.
