17. The Planning Board.
(1)There shall be constituted a Planning Board of the University which shall consist of not more than eleven members out of which not more than three shall be Government Officers. It shall be the principal planning body of the University and shall also be responsible for the monitoring of the development of the University, on the lines indicated in the objects of the University.(2)The constitution of the Planning Board, the term of office of its members and its powers and functions shall be prescribed by the Statutes.
