1. The hearing was conducted through video conferencing.

2. Status report has been filed by Deputy Conservator of Forests (North) suggesting various steps required to be taken by the Petitioner to convert the area in question into deep dense forest.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that some of the steps may not be practically feasible keeping in view the nature of the area.

4. Petitioner is directed to approach the Deputy Conservator of Forests with the reservations that the petitioner has. Conservator of Forests will examine the reservations that petitioner may have and thereafter, if required, suggest further/alternative measures.

5. In case the Deputy Conservator of Forests is of the view that the reservations expressed by the petitioner are unfounded then the petitioner shall commence the steps as directed by the Deputy Conservator of Forests in accordance with his guidance.

6. List for reporting compliance on 25.10.2021.

7. Copy of the order be uploaded on the High Court website and be also forwarded to learned counsels through email by the Court Master.
