Section 18(7) in The Assam Agricultural Farming Corporation Rules, 1973
(7)The Chairman of the Board shall preside in all the meetings of the Board. In the absence of the Chairman in any Board's meeting the Directors present may elect one among themselves to conduct the meeting.
